Questions

When do foundation grants close?

The next deadline is October 31, 2026 for New World Screwworm direct support grant. 10 programs take applications at any time.

Do foundations accept unsolicited proposals?

Some do, often through a short letter of inquiry first. Many large foundations fund mainly by invitation; each listing says which.

Do I have to pay to apply for a grant?

No. Real grant programs never charge to apply or to receive an award. Anyone asking for a fee before you get grant money is running a scam.
