Questions
When do tribal grants close?
The next deadline is November 2, 2026 for National Indian Health Outreach and Education.
Can a tribal organization that isn't a federally recognized tribe apply?
Often yes. Grants.gov lists tribal organizations separately from federally recognized tribal governments, and many programs accept both.
Do I have to pay to apply for a grant?
No. Real grant programs never charge to apply or to receive an award. Anyone asking for a fee before you get grant money is running a scam.
